Bishop Bradley joins in prayers with the Diocese of Madison, Wis., mourning the loss of their Shepherd, Bishop Robert C. Morlino, formerly a priest of the Diocese of Kalamazoo.

The Diocese of Kalamazoo announced the following:
Late last week, Bishop Bradley received complaints about inappropriate behavior toward adults by Rev. Stanley Witek, Associate Pastor, St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Portage.

Bishop Paul J. Bradley releases statement following USCCB national meeting
Following the recently concluded Fall General Assembly of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Most Rev. Paul J. Bradley released the following statement affirming the Diocese of Kalamazoo’s commitment to moving forward with its previously announced “A Plan to Protect”, calling for enhanced measures to keep children and vulnerable people safe and protected.

The Bishops of the United States will be meeting for our regular Fall General Assembly next week in Baltimore, Maryland. (Nov. 12-15, 2018). As you may know, this year’s meeting holds special importance, as very significant decisions in regard to the current scandals of clergy sexual abuse and the mishandling of many of these cases by Bishops will be made.
