"The moral law obliges … [husband and wife] in every case to … respect the biological laws inscribed in their person. It is precisely this respect which makes legitimate, at the service of responsible procreation, the use of natural methods of regulating fertility."
(John Paul II, Evangelium vitae, no. 97)
The Natural Family Planning Program is committed to supporting the people of our Diocese with up-to-date scientific data and Church teachings to help them better understand and live out their fertility within God's plan.
The Diocese provides a variety of resources for women at all stages of their fertility, including introductory sessions for engaged couples, family planning for married couples, information on infertility, and more.
Engaged couples are highly encouraged to attend a Catholic introduction to Natural Family Planning session during their engagement. The introductory session is already included in our Diocesan (JFM) Joy Filled Marriage Preparation weekends for the engaged.
