Day of Discovery

What:

This is a one day marriage preparation program designed to help couples gain a better understanding of the joys and challenges of living the sacrament of Marriage in their day-to- day lives. A team of trained married couples and the staff of the Office of Marriage and Family Ministry present information and ideas from their experience on a number of aspects of married life such as communication, finances, married intimacy, married spirituality, etc. Each team presentation, informative enrichment and couple’s exercise provides participating couples with insights into their own relationship, as well as giving them practical ideas and tools to help make their marriage healthy, happy and a lifelong commitment. While there will be some group interaction, the main focus will be on the participating couples own reflection and private dialog.
