Dear New Kalamazoo Diocesan Parishioner,
Welcome to the Diocese of Kalamazoo!
The Catholic Church in southwest Michigan is alive and well, growing, and doing great things within our individual parishes, our Diocese, and for the Church throughout the world.
In order to support the needs of God’s people within our community, and throughout the world, the Diocese of Kalamazoo runs an annual appeal, the Kalamazoo Diocesan Services Appeal (KDSA), each year. KDSA is the means by which we fund a wide range of services offered by our Church, and is the main source of support for our overall mission. Our appeal supports nearly two dozen ministries which offer a variety of programs and support services. These include, naming only a few: Seminarian Education, Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Christian Service, Catholic Family Services, Hispanic Ministry, and Christian Formation. As you can well imagine, your help is needed.
If you are new members at the following parishes there is no need to complete the KDSA Pledge Card, as your parish budgets their stewardship to KDSA through the weekly offering. Those parishes include: St. Monica-Kalamazoo, St. John-Albion, St. Mary-Marshall, and St. John Bosco-Mattawan.
If you are not members of the above listed parishes, and you wish to support our Diocesan missions, please complete the KDSA Pledge Card Form and turn it into your Parish Office. The blank box is where you will need to fill in your name and address. If you have any questions you may direct them either to your parish office or to the KDSA business office. Thank you for your support.
God bless and keep you always.
