




St. Monica Parish will host its annual Pro-life Speaker Series at 7 p.m. on Monday evenings in October. The series will be held in the parish community building and will feature 45-minute presentations followed by Q and A. There is no cost, and all are welcome. On Oct. 1, Fr. Thomas Euteneuer will discuss the pro-life movement. On Oct. 8, youth from Pinckney Pro-Life will discuss chastity and modesty as it relates to teens and young adults. On Oct. 22, representatives from Silent No More will present a testimony on the tragedy of abortion. On Oct. 29, Clark Forsythe will discuss the legal implications of the recent partial-birth abortion ruling by the Supreme Court. For more information, please call (269) 345-4389.
“Lessons of Love from Mother Teresa” will be the focus of the Kalamazoo Diocesan Council of Catholic Women’s “Autumn Day of Spiritual Renewal” to be held Thursday, Oct. 25 at Holy Angels Church, Sturgis. Presentations will include talks featuring original audio of Bl. Teresa, as well as a dramatic interpretation of her love for all.
