Bishop Bradley has issued a formal Call to the Permanent Diaconate for men discerning a vocation to this ordained ministry. (official letter from Bishop Bradley)
Diocesan Information Meetings will be held during April and May to give an “Overview of Deacon Formation.”
The informational meetings are schedule as follows:
Monday, May 2, 2011 – 7:00 p.m. Our Lady of the Lake, Edwardsburg, in the Social Hall
Thursday, May 5, 2011 – 7:00 p.m. St. Therese, Wayland, in the Church Narthex
Monday, May 16, 2011 – 7:00 p.m. St. Thomas More, Kalamazoo, in the Bronco Room
Wednesday, May 25, 2011 – 7:00 p.m. Immaculate Conception, Three Rivers, in the Church Basement
Men interested in the Diaconate and their wives are highly encouraged to attend one of the above sessions. Preliminary applications will be available at that time.
