The Office of Communications assists the bishop and participates in the mission of evangelization by providing information from and for the Catholic Church in southwest Michigan.

The following are among its responsibilities:

• Publishing the diocesan newspaper, The Good News for the Diocese of Kalamazoo
  
  
• Administering the Diocese of Kalamazoo Website
  
  
• Public relations between the Diocese of Kalamazoo and the local community, which includes publicizing major news and events, and responding to inquiries from the media and public.
